You have just a few seconds to make the right impression and keep a visitor on your site. If you want visitors to look around properly, the site's navigation must be intuitive and efficient. A design which scores on these counts and is correctly coded, will build more traffic and also be rewarded by the search engines. My name is Lex Hoffman ("lex" on the boards). I have been building and running websites for nearly 10 years. My designs translate into websites which work and I always go the extra distance to ensure that clients are satisfied. I do not overbook myself, which is good news if you have had problems with unreliable designers and coders in the past.
Prices are subject to confirmation, but for example, I charge from $400 for blog, link directory and forum themes; from $250 to update sites to compliant, valid code; and $100 to install more than a dozen WordPress plugins and modifications intended to improve a blog's search-engine performance. Consultancy and tuition rates range from $150 an hour for short assignments down to $80 an hour for longer projects.
